To seat or not-video: what should DNC decide?

The only thing that seems remotely fair to me is to have a revote in both Florida and Michigan. The question should not be, ‘what is fair for the candidates and do they agree?’

The question should be what is fair for the citizens and/or members of the Democratic party and what makes the primary and election process legitimate.

Coming up with a mathematical equation to formulate some half baked reason for determining the next Presidential Candidate for the Democratic Party is the furthest thing from fair and the furthest thing from Democracy.

Howard Dean should resign as a side note. He played hard ball with Florida and Michigan and at the end of the day, the voters and the Democratic party lost. He should not have gambled with voters as the stakes to the game.

Following the Elite Decision to Pick a Presidential Candidate

The Democratic Elites gaveled the opening of their meeting to pick the next Democratic President.

I’ve been following the events today as they unfold today in three different articles with coverage by Jeremy at Utterz. (1, 2, 3)

Below is the presentation of the case for Florida Delegates.

Obama’s team steps in to make the case for halving the votes of Florida, and Michigan will be handled separately.

Of course CNN is out in force for this event.

Chuck Todd is flanked by two other analysts as they give their commentary for CNN. The FL presentations are over and the committee has moved on to hearing the MI presentations before breaking for lunch.

Its all in all a sad day as democracy in the Democratic Party is under fire and most people are obliviously going about there day, some enjoying the weather, some avoiding it and some just wondering what sexy shoes Sarah Jessica Parker will buy or wear in the latest Sex in the City.

Get a Real Job Chelsea Clinton

utterz-image

It has been taboo for people to question Chelsea Clinton as she travels the country stumping for her mother. When someone asks her a tough question she hides behind the concept that it is a family affair, as if she were not part of the family business of politics. Or the campaign will jump up and say, she’s ‘our daughter’ you shouldn’t ask that.Well the reality is that Chelsea is pushing 30. She was born in 1980 and has been wearing big girl pants for quite a while. She graduated from Stanford (undergrad) and Oxford (Master’s) and probably owns Patek watches more substantial and important than this latest effort.

So with parents that cleared over $50 million in the last few years, a father who was the former leader of the free world, and a mother who is a Senator from New York, she should have a pretty good shot at making something of herself.

Instead today, I get an email from Chelsea talking about an important decision. Is she going to run for office herself? Is she resigning from the campaign to go make her own way in the world? Is she joining the military to go fight in afghanistan where the real terrorists are according to her mother?

No, she’s running a popularity poll and contest to find her mother’s campaign a new T-shirt with a good slogan.

Are you kidding me!???!

If you hear her speak, she sounds like she probably has as much intelligence as her father and mother. But even if she was cursed with only half the intelligence, you’d think that at age 28 she could be trusted with a little more responsibility.

Finding the right t-shirt for a campaign that might be dead next week?

In all seriousness, Chelsea, in all serious Clinton family, WTF?

Email Text Below
“Dear Brett,

We need your help to make a critical decision — our next official campaign t-shirt.

We recently launched a contest to design a campaign t-shirt, and I couldn’t believe the incredible response. We got thousands of great entries. They were creative, inspirational, funny, and beautiful. It was amazing to see the devotion to my mom’s campaign come through in each t-shirt. Thank you to everyone who submitted a design!

It wasn’t easy to narrow it down, but we’ve chosen five we think are particularly great, and now we need your help in making our final decision. Please vote for your favorite design — the winning shirt will go on sale in our online campaign store.

Please click here to see the finalists and vote for your favorite.

Thanks again for everything you’re doing to help my mom!

Go Hillary!
Chelsea ”
